Will Automation and Artificial intelligence reduce or increase jobs?
Technology:
Technology is what which gives you an easy way to do something in a very effective and efficient way. You can do your work in a second which manually takes almost more time.
It is developed to help the people of the society and to make the world a better place for people to live their life with happiness and joy.
It is well versed that "Every coin has two sides" which means technology also have a good impact and a bad impact also. There are many users who take advantages of technology and provides various facility to the people of the society and there are also people who take personal advantages by providing harms to other people.
Automation and Artificial intelligence:
There has been a wonderful saying that " Necessity is a mother of invention and technology has been proven a blessings for everyone" which means it has developed very much as compared to previous days.
Artificial intelligence (according to me) in simple word is a robot or a program made by human with a manmade brain which contains all the intelligence but does not contains any emotions. Only difference between AI and Human is Emotional factor.
There are many things which is now operated by machine itself i.e. through Automatic and Artificial intelligence. Let's take an example of "Washing Machine", You just need to put clothes in it and set the time ,the machine itself will wash the cloth and dry it, this is all because of Automation and Artificial Intelligence Technology. Other example is Passbook printing machine, Cash deposit machines in a bank etc.Impact on Job:
Many people want a good job with a good salary. Yes I too need a good job with a very good salary and this can be done with the help of technology. Linked in and many more job finding website is available which is a result of Technology itself. Growing technology also had a good and great impact on the Job opportunities as with an increase in technology the jobs for the people also increases. They need more people to do the work, to develop the technology(to operate the technology which is available in the world).
It may happen that growth of technology like Artificial intelligence may have a bad impact on the job because it will take the place of people in a company and the person who is already doing job will have to loose his/her job. This will leads to a situation of Unemployment.
Take an example of a person who is doing a job in a bank and his job is to collect the cheques from the customers and at last, count the number of cheque received in a day and enter the count in the register. Then on next day his manager removed him from his job and put a automatic machine in place of that person, now machine takes the place of person which directly leads to job loosing, which means machines is now doing work of human by replacing human only.
CONCLUSION
Technology is really very important for the people because it has become a important part of everybody's life. It is now a necessity for an individual to live his/her life at an easy way.
There are different opinion which people can form for this but in my view artificial intelligence is extremely good technology but somehow it will be very bad for us because it may leads to the reduction in a job, at certain point people may find that it is increasing the job opportunities but if we considered this as in long term than it will be harmful for the society. The best example that I think to understand it better is of a movie named as "Robot". The actor is "Rajnikanth" and in this movie it is clearly stated that what impact does the Artificial Intelligence does on human if that robot will be get more advanced features. The government of particular country should set some limit to what extend this can be used.
